GPU Instancer

Requires the full Nature Shaders package.

GPU Instancer is a solution to display extreme numbers of objects on screen with high performance. With a few mouse clicks, you can instance your prefabs, Unity Terrain details and trees.

Nature Shaders has an integration for GPU Instancer so that you can use Nature Shaders for your vegetation's materials and then render everything with GPU Instancer to make use of its high performance rendering.

To enable the integration:

  1. Select a shader in the folder "Assets/Visual Design Cafe/Nature Shaders/Shaders" to show its import settings in the inspector.
  2. Select "GPU Instancer" in the Rendering Engine field.
  3. Click "Apply" to save the changes.
