Not all files have to be included in version control. For example, temporary files and files that get regenerated automatically do not have to be included. In order to exclude files from SVN you can edit the ignore list for the project.
At the bottom of the Version Control Settings you will find the global ignore list for your project. This list contains all the files, folders, and patterns that can be excluded from version control.
On the right side, you will find the default ignore list with all items that can be ignored by default. You can add these items to your own ignore list by clicking the < button, or < Add All to immediately add the entire list.
At the bottom of the list, you will find a text field where you can add additional items if required. Please input the pattern you want to be ignored and click the + button to add it to the list.
For more information about ignoring items and ignore patterns please visit the Subversion documentation.
